Aug 3 - Day 40
Travelers decided to take a day to rest. Severe thunder storms were predicted and became a reality early in the morning. Power was out for several hours in some local areas. High winds were evident in Rensselaer as large tree limbs were knocked down. Ladies did the laundry while bikers rested.

ReplyDeleteGood to read your blog and catch up on your story. I met Ned's wife in some town in eastern WA at the start of my trip in late June). Later near the MT/ND border Ned & Jerry passed me and we stopped and talked. I am back home in Muscatine, IA now after hitching up to RAGBRAI across Iowa.
