Aug 7 - Day 44

Bikers had another beautiful day to ride, temps in high 70s and wind fairly calm. They rode 76 miles from Bellefontaine, OH to Mt. Vernon, OH, avg 15.5 mph, new total 2844. The ride was through small rural communities, where locals were having various fund raisers. They bought some lemonade from a 6th grader in Ashley, OH where they had lunch. She said business was not that great so they drank the lemonade to help her. Near the end of the day they encountered some rolling hills, which tends to slow them down. Ladies stopped at a huge rummage sale. What a pile of junk.
